| Bio: | Seeing Jamie update her profile made me wanna do it haha. So here we go. This is the journal of one Becky Baker. I am currently 19 years old and I am studying Music as a Bachelor of Arts at Kent State University as a sophomore. I know having a bachelor at the beginning of your major makes it sound important.. but it's really not, I don't really know what I want to do with music.. but I'm going to school for 5 years and who knows where I'll end up. I would go into performance but that's really a solo career like you play by yourself all the time.. and I don't think that path is for me... I'm really bad at understading music too, so that x's out the music education thing. Well that leaves me with Bachelor.. I'm struggling to find a career in it. But this coming summer I might have a job as a pit orchestra member, and yes I would get paid for it. Rock on I say. But if you were wondering "why would she want to do a thing like that? She's so talented" (hahaha I know swell my ego but not really I don't even think I'm that talented, but I've done a good job so far :) but really that's what I ultimately want to do is play on a pit orchestra for Broadway productions or something. Well, I want to work with John Williams on movie soundtracks that would be awesome, but I'd have to move to Boston so that probably won't happen. If anything I will move to New York and live with Beth and live in a rat-infested appartment building struggling on Broadway together.. ah well I can dream right? hahahaha. ANYWAY, about me? I am the section leader for the seconds in the Kent State Concert Band, I am also in flute ensemble which I absolutely heart. My best friend last year was Jamie Michelle Kirkbride and funnily enough this year..she still is :) and that rocks. She just totally rocks and she cracks me up so much all the time, she's just random and awesome. I have a twin sister, she's my twinkie, and my tweeb also my roommate of 326 Prentice Hall. I thought it would be hard living with her because she bugs me sometimes but it's actually not that bad at all, we do have our moments... you know fighting about stupid things with a sibling, but since we live together if we don't work it out we don't talk so that's not good. And we get along really well. I also have one other sister Kitty, and a kind of half sister that's more of a sister than half. And that's Jen. I have a brother, but I don't talk about him... so therefore, I won't. I love theatre people they absolutely crack me up. Especially the gay ones... who knew homosexuals could be such fun? College is definitely a learning experience. I don't drink and I doubt you will ever see me with any type of alcohol in my hand. Also I don't smoke, I think that's a disgusting thing and if you want to blacken your lungs... then I guess you want to be unattractive. No one wants to kiss a smoker. In school flutes call me sweet, that makes me smile. My flute teacher also calls me compassionate towards others. I think I try to be. I like to make people happy, and I love it when I can make someone smile some people call me sunshine. I love everything about music I love old school bands like The Rolling Stones, I love classical music, and I love world music. I absolutey love Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe is freaking sweet and Alan Rickman is the best actor ever. I LOVE Smallville I think it's one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life. Another thing, I'm in love with Michael Rosenbaum I think that he is the absolute sexiest man alive. With or Without hair, and if you know me, you know I'm a hair man, I think bald men aren't sexy but this particular one makes my knees weak. I have the best friends in the world. Here in Duncan Falls, or when I was in High School, and now while I'm in college, I love meeting people. I carry people with me throughout life, and the really important that impact my life so greatly are the ones I keep forever. Friendship is a very rare thing with me. I love loyalty and honesty in a friend. I'm not stupid and I usually know when I'm being lied to whatever the situation, and I'm very trustworthy. I'm nice to people I care about, and my friends and family are the most important thing to me, I will do anything for them, and even go to the end of the earth to see them happy. If you get on my bad side however... that's a different story. I like to be nice but I can be very not.
